Announce a new feature.. Club House helps content makers reap revenue

Clubhouse has announced a new feature, allowing creators to get money directly from users, in the first step to making profits through the popular voice messaging app.

« We are pleased to start introducing Payments, the first monetization feature for Club House creators, » the app said in a statement on Monday on its website.

« All users will be able to send payments today, and we will launch the ability to receive payments in batches, starting with testing for a small group today. » « We hope to collect comments, improve the feature, and publish it to everyone soon. »

The application’s guideline is to build a platform that puts the creator first, the statement said, noting that the goal is to help creators build a community and an audience, and to be broadly influential.

Paul Davison, co-founder of the startup, said Club House wants to focus on monetization of content makers, rather than advertising.

If the content maker enables the payments feature, the user will be able to click the send money button and enter the amount they want to provide.

The startup will not take any part of what the content maker gets, as the money goes to them completely, and the company confirmed that the move will be the first of many advantages, allowing creators to get money directly from Club House, in the coming period.

While all users can now send money, the payments feature is now enabled for a small test group of speakers, however, the company offers the ability to receive payments gradually because it collects comments and adjusts the feature.
